What is happening now
Pokémon Home is the cloud-based storage and management service for Pokémon across Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, allowing players to organize and transfer their creatures between compatible games. The service launched in February 2020 and operates on a subscription model. The Pokémon Company recently announced an expansion to Home's compatibility, with Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen set to integrate with the service in October 2026. This addition will enable players to move Pokémon from these classic remakes into Home's storage system alongside their other games.
