What is happening now
Tangled is an adventure game released in 2010 for Wii and PC, based on Disney's animated film of the same name. The game follows the story of Rapunzel as players navigate through adventure-focused gameplay tied to the movie's narrative. While the game itself has been out for over a decade, recent news concerns Disney's live-action adaptation of Tangled, which the studio announced will arrive in 2028. This represents the entertainment company's broader strategy of remaking its animated catalog in live-action form, though it remains separate from the original game's ongoing status.
