About
Mario Kart Game is a browser-based demake that brings the classic kart racer to life with Game Boy-era aesthetics and mechanics. Released in March 2023, the web version lets players experience Mario Kart racing through an 8-bit lens accessible directly from any browser. The project taps into the ongoing community interest in Mario Kart ROM hacks and demakes, reimagining the franchise through different technical and artistic constraints. It's positioned as a portable alternative for those looking to enjoy kart racing in a retro format without requiring specialized hardware.
