Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play action RPG set in a post-cataclysmic sci-fi world, available across PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5 since May 2024. The game features gacha-style character banners and regularly rotates new Resonators into its roster.
Recent updates have kept the title active on multiple fronts. Version 3.6, which launched in August, introduced two new Resonators - Qingxiao and Jingran - alongside story progression, new Echo items, performance optimizations including DLSS 4.5 support, and adjustments to character builds like Suisui's optimal loadouts. Beyond the game itself, developer Kuro Games established Kuro Onroad, an in-house animation studio, with Wuthering Waves: Elysium announced as its debut animated series, expanding the franchise into anime format.
