Mafia: The Old Country arrived on PC in April 2022 as a linear story-driven crime game set in early 1900s Sicily. Following its launch, developer Hangar 13 has been expanding the experience with additional content and broader franchise initiatives.
The franchise saw significant activity centered around August 2024, when the Man of Honor story expansion released, pulling protagonist Enzo back into assignments for crime boss Salieri. Alongside the expansion's launch came The Omerta Collection, a comprehensive bundle packaging all mainline Mafia games with enhanced versions featuring upgraded visuals and performance improvements. The collection came bundled with discounts for existing franchise owners, including free upgrades to Mafia: Definitive Edition for some players. The Old Country itself has also received pricing adjustments and additional free content offerings since its initial release.
