About
The Apocalypse is an action-adventure RPG that launched in late 2022, blending strategic gameplay with indie sensibilities across a variety of post-collapse scenarios. Recent coverage has highlighted the diversity of apocalyptic experiences emerging in the space. Hello Andromeda's Sarco presents a claustrophobic horror take, trapping players in a research facility where they must prevent a cosmic entity from fully awakening by maintaining constant observation - a no-saves design that intensifies the tension. Meanwhile, Arc Raiders has taken a lighter approach, partnering with Subway to introduce food-themed cosmetics that let players outfit their characters in sandwich-inspired gear, demonstrating how apocalypse-themed games are finding unexpected tonal ground between existential dread and absurdist humor.
