Realm of Ink is an Ink-style action Roguelite game. You, the heroine, unexpectedly discover that you are just a fictional character within the short story collection Realm of Ink when hunting the Fox. Only by defeating the mysterious Book Spirit can you be liberated from the realm.
What is happening now
Realm of Ink is an indie RPG that blends hack-and-slash combat with strategic elements and adventure design across multiple platforms. Released in May 2026, the game has drawn immediate comparisons to Hades due to its structural similarities, though early coverage suggests it carves its own path rather than simply emulating that formula. Critics note that while fans of Supergiant's roguelike will find familiar ground, Realm of Ink's deviations from that template are substantial enough to warrant attention from players seeking a distinct experience within the genre.
