Story

A Short Quest is a first-person RPG developed by a 2 man indie team. Together we are building a lovingly crafted RPG set within the borders of a crumbling Kingdom. The king has gone mad, goblin raids have become commonplace and you are tasked with a seemingly simple task. Take a note of great importance to the king, and survive the journey.

What is happening now

A Short Quest is a lo-fi indie RPG that draws spiritual inspiration from classic Elder Scrolls design. The game is currently in development for PC, with a full release anticipated next year. Based on recent playtesting, the game appears to successfully capture the distinctive atmosphere of those classic RPGs despite its modest scope and visual presentation. Early impressions suggest the title has enough character and mechanical depth to warrant attention from players who appreciate that particular strain of elder-era RPG sensibility.
