What is happening now
Wild Card Football is a multi-platform arcade football simulator that launched in October 2023. The game has become the subject of a licensing dispute, with reports indicating that developer Saber Interactive has not paid approximately $3.5 million in royalty fees owed to a football union. The disagreement over compensation stems from ongoing tensions regarding the game's licensing arrangements and appears to have persisted for some time since release.
