The Sinking City is a Lovecraftian survival horror adventure that launched in 2019 across multiple platforms. Developer Frogwares has now turned attention to its sequel, with pre-orders opening and an August 18th release date confirmed. The studio has been steadily releasing details about The Sinking City 2 in recent weeks, including final PC system requirements for the Unreal Engine 5-powered title and pricing information. Pre-order editions are available at multiple tiers, with the Premium Edition offering $59.99 access to early gameplay, a 24-hour head start, and a two-hour side quest called the Holloway Manor. The sequel will also feature new weapons themed around cosmic horror elements for early purchasers.
