What is happening now
Nine Parchments is a Diablo-style isometric RPG built around cooperative multiplayer, with friendly fire serving as its central mechanical hook. Released in late 2017, it has maintained a presence across PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Recent coverage has focused on the game's friendly fire systems, which create unpredictable group dynamics - players can inadvertently catch teammates in area-of-effect spells, potentially eliminating multiple allies with a single mistimed cast. This friction between cooperation and chaos appears to be the game's primary draw for players looking to test their coordination or simply embrace the comedic potential of mutual destruction.
