Dredge came out on March 30, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, then for Mac on December 18, 2024 and for Android and iOS on February 27, 2025. The main story takes about 12 hours, doing everything about 24 hours.

Dredge is a fishing adventure with a sinister undercurrent. Sell your catch, upgrade your vessel and dredge the depths for long-buried relics. Explore the stories of the strange locals and discover why some things are best left forgotten. Captain your fishing trawler across a collection of remote islands, each with its own inhabitants to meet, wildlife to discover, and stories to unearth.

Story

Starting from your new home in the remote archipelago, ‘The Marrows’, take to the water and scour the depths for curious collectables and over 125 deep sea denizens. Explore each area while completing quests and visiting neighbouring island regions – each with their own unique opportunities, inhabitants, and secrets.

What is happening now

Dredge is a first-person fishing adventure with RPG elements across multiple platforms, released in March 2023. The game tasks players with exploring mysterious waters while uncovering the secrets of a strange seaside town through exploration and dialogue. Since launch, developer Black Salt Games has expanded its operations by helping establish Team Trifold, a new independent studio based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Team Trifold is currently developing its debut project, an action roguelike titled Nothing Lost for PC, marking another venture from the creative team behind Dredge.
