About
Thief Gold is a 1999 stealth-action sim that established many conventions of the genre. The classic has seen renewed attention lately, with GOG announcing it has entered their preservation program following a community vote among GOG Patrons - a move that ensures ongoing support and accessibility for the title. More recently, modders have released an RTX Remix mod enabling real-time path tracing throughout the game, offering a substantial visual overhaul for players looking to revisit the stealth classic with modern rendering techniques.
