About
Under the Sea is a casual adventure-simulation title that launched on PC in October 2021. Recent coverage has focused on Path of Exile's upcoming Curse of the Allflame expansion, which introduces an underwater setting to the action-RPG. The expansion, arriving July 24, takes players beneath the waves to explore the sea floor as part of the next chapter in Wraeclast's narrative, departing from the series' typical pattern of introducing entirely new lands. The underwater locale represents a tonal shift for the franchise, moving away from its established aesthetic toward a more atmospheric direction.
