Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko's Mystery Dungeon Classic HD 2026

About

Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko's Mystery Dungeon Classic HD is a remastered version of the roguelike dungeon crawler, now available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The game follows Torneko, a merchant from the Dragon Quest series, as he explores procedurally generated dungeons in search of treasure and adventure. The remaster launched in September 2026 across both Switch platforms, bringing the classic experience to current Nintendo hardware. As a roguelike, it emphasizes permadeath and randomized dungeons that create different challenges with each run, appealing to players seeking a more structured dungeon-crawling alternative to other entries in the broader Dragon Quest Heroes series.
