Skyblivion is a community-led mod project that remakes The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion within Skyrim's engine. The ambitious undertaking, developed entirely by volunteers, aims to bring the 2006 RPG to modern systems while preserving its content and mechanics. The project recently encountered legal complications when a former volunteer initiated a lawsuit against the team. In response, project leadership has publicly appealed for restraint, requesting that the situation not devolve into community conflict. The volunteer-run team is currently seeking pro bono legal assistance to address the matter.
