What is happening now
Slammed! is an indie RPG released in 2013 across PC, Mac, Linux, and Android. Despite its age, the game hasn't surfaced prominently in recent gaming coverage. The headlines appearing alongside it relate to other media properties facing criticism - a Big Bang Theory spin-off introduction drawing backlash for perceived AI-generated content, players exploiting Baldur's Gate 3's quicksave mechanic extensively, and a Spider-Man art book controversy over AI use. None of these stories directly concern Slammed! itself, suggesting the game remains largely dormant in the current news cycle without active updates or community developments worth covering.
