About
Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition is the complete edition of Obsidian's 2010 post-apocalyptic RPG, bundling the base game with all DLC content across console and PC platforms. The game casts players as a courier in the Mojave Wasteland, tasked with delivering a mysterious package while navigating factions, quests, and moral choices that shape the narrative's outcome. Years after its original release, the game continues to attract developer interest. A notable fan project is currently underway to port New Vegas into OpenMW, an open-source engine, with plans for full VR support. The effort is being led by Nick Bryson, a former senior software engineer at Blizzard, marking a significant technical undertaking to bring the classic RPG into virtual reality.
