Mutazione is a adventure exploration video game set on an island where the player tends to the local gardens and learns more about the town's people. The game takes place over different days, each with unique events. While gardening the player can grow different types of plants, from bushes to trees. Seeds can be found all over the island from other plants. The player needs to give the plant the required space in order for it to grow and different ones require other types of soil. Each plant also creates different sounds, which when combined with other greenery can create music.

What is happening now

Mutazione is a point-and-click adventure with rhythm-game elements that centers on uncovering family secrets in a tropical community shaped by a century-old meteor impact. The setting serves as backdrop rather than focus; the game emphasizes character relationships and community gossip over catastrophe. Originally released in 2019, the game has maintained strong critical reception across platforms, with particularly high marks from players. Currently, Mutazione's mobile versions are available free through the Epic Games Store App through early August, covering iOS and Android releases. The giveaway offers a chance to experience the game's musical garden-growing mechanics and narrative-driven exploration at no cost, though availability varies by region.
