The franchise is moving forward despite turbulent circumstances. Original developer Leenzee dissolved following the departure of Game Director Xia Siyuan, but Digital Bros acquired the IP and has now partnered with publisher 505 Games and new studio Indolphinity to develop a sequel with Siyuan leading the effort. The new arrangement reunites the creative director with the franchise after his exit from the original team.
