Tales of Eternia is an action RPG that originally launched on PlayStation in 2000. The game follows Reid, a hunter from the village of Rasheans, as he becomes embroiled in a world-threatening conflict across the planet Inferia.
Bandai Namco is preparing a remastered version with substantial quality-of-life enhancements. The update includes variable gameplay modifiers allowing players to adjust experience gain, currency earned, and battle and field speed to suit their preferences, alongside features like autosave functionality. The studio has also shared new character artwork as part of the Tales franchise's 30th anniversary celebration, which includes 188 newly commissioned illustrations spanning the series' mainline entries.
