About
Worms Special Edition is a turn-based strategy game for macOS that puts players in control of armed worm squads battling opponents across destructible environments. The game emphasizes tactical positioning and weapon selection, featuring everything from conventional firearms to explosives that reshape the terrain during combat. Recent coverage has focused on Worms merchandise rather than the game itself, with a board game adaptation gaining attention for significant price reductions on retail platforms. This suggests the Worms franchise continues to maintain cultural presence beyond its core gaming audience, though direct updates to the Special Edition release remain limited in current gaming press.
