In 1986 both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc were destroyed in mutual nuclear bombings. You are one of the survivors of the nuclear Holocaust. Your mission - to explore the wild and wondrous world of the Soviet Wasteland. To earn your place under the sun. And to investigate a shadowy conspiracy, aimed at destroying all that is left of life on Earth.

ATOM RPG is a Fallout-inspired post-apocalyptic RPG that launched in 2018 across multiple platforms. The indie title combines turn-based combat with exploration and choice-driven storytelling in a desolate wasteland setting. The franchise continues to expand with developer AtomTeam actively supporting the original game and developing its sequel. A recent major update brought fresh content to ATOM RPG alongside Plague Island, new DLC that introduces a story-focused scenario on an island settlement grappling with disease outbreak. Meanwhile, ATOM RPG 2 is undergoing significant changes during its Salvation Alpha test, most notably abandoning the series' turn-based combat system in favor of a survival-focused approach - a considerable departure from the original's design philosophy.
