Deltarune

Deltarune is an indie RPG that blends turn-based combat, puzzle-solving, and a heavily music-driven narrative across multiple chapters. The game launched in June 2025 across PC, consoles, and Switch platforms, with creator Toby Fox continuing to develop subsequent chapters.

Following the release of Chapter 5, Fox has shifted development priorities toward Chapter 6, which is scheduled for 2027. Chapter 5 itself has received ongoing balance patches, including forthcoming adjustments to a particularly punishing secret boss encounter. According to Fox's Summer 2026 update, the final chapters will mark a tonal shift away from the lighter, episodic nature of earlier installments, moving toward more serious narrative territory. The community has been engaged with guides for the chapter's piano puzzles and endgame challenges, while behind-the-scenes details have emerged about character design collaborations and Fox's creative process.
