About
Terranigma is a cult-classic action RPG from 1995 that blends exploration and real-time combat on the SNES. Developed by Quintet and directed by Tomoyoshi Miyazaki, the game follows a protagonist awakening to restore life to a devastated world. After remaining largely inaccessible for decades, the game appears poised for a comeback. Clear River Games has begun teasing what seems to be a re-release announcement, with a reveal expected during the publisher's Pixel Arcadia presentation on August 24, 2026. Details remain sparse, but the teasers suggest something official may finally be in the works for the long-dormant classic.
