Puzzle & Dragons is GungHo Online Entertainment's long-running mobile puzzle RPG that blends match-three mechanics with team-building and dungeon progression. The game has maintained a steady presence across iOS and Android since its 2012 launch through regular content updates and collaborative events.
Recent activity includes a limited-time crossover with Puella Magi Madoka Magica, introducing characters from the series alongside dedicated dungeons through early September. The collaboration exemplifies the game's ongoing approach to keeping its gacha-driven roster fresh. Beyond this, Puzzle & Dragons continues to compete in the crowded mobile RPG space alongside titles like Solo Leveling Arise and Crystal of Atlan, while drawing enough industry attention to have warranted investment interest from Sony Music, suggesting the aging mobile game still retains notable commercial value.
