About
James Pond is a platformer series that debuted in 1990 across Commodore, Amiga, Atari ST, and Genesis. The franchise has remained largely dormant until now. Publisher System 3 recently announced James Pond Legacy: The Pond Is Not Enough, a compilation gathering the first four games for Switch 2. The release generated significant controversy when System 3 posted a promotional trailer that users suspected was AI-generated. While the publisher denied the allegation, the explanation failed to quell community skepticism and criticism regarding the trailer's authenticity.
