What is happening now
Stage Fright is a co-op adventure from Ghost Town Games, the studio behind the massively successful Overcooked series. Drawing inspiration from The Goonies, Stranger Things, and Luigi's Mansion, the game aims for an adorably spooky tone while maintaining the collaborative gameplay the developer is known for. After an initial tease in late 2024, Ghost Town Games returned with its first substantial gameplay reveal, confirming the title for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, and PC. The game is scheduled to launch at the end of 2027. While Overcooked established the studio's reputation for accessible multiplayer fun, Stage Fright signals a tonal and thematic shift toward supernatural adventure territory.
