Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an action game released in 2002 for Xbox, GameCube, and PlayStation 2, set during the conflict that defined the prequel era. While the original game has aged into historical curiosity status, the Clone Wars setting continues to draw developer interest. Lucasfilm has confirmed that a fan-favorite clone captain character will appear in Star Wars Zero Company, an upcoming game also set during this period, suggesting the era remains fertile ground for new Star Wars projects despite the time elapsed since the original's launch.
