Visions of Mana co-director Kenji Ozawa is recruiting for an “unannounced console game” by his new independent studio
Studio Sasanqua was founded last year, following the closure of Ouka Studios.
Visions of Mana is an action-RPG that launched across PlayStation and Xbox platforms as well as PC in late August 2024. The game follows Square Enix's Mana series with real-time combat and adventure gameplay.
Since release, attention has shifted to the game's creative leadership. Kenji Ozawa, who co-directed Visions of Mana, has moved on to head his own independent studio, Studio Sasanqua, founded following Ouka Studios' closure. Ozawa is now actively recruiting staff for an unannounced console project, signaling his focus has turned toward new ventures rather than ongoing support for Mana.
