Story

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new. Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony—until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle. Now it’s up to you to discover the stories of this world and bring the magic back to Dreamlight Valley!

What is happening now

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a cozy life-sim adventure where players tend to a magical village populated by Disney characters. Since its December 2023 launch, the game has continued expanding with new content packs and updates. The Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack introduced fresh activities including the Pooh Sticks minigame and new recipes like Honey Glazed Plush Fish, though the expansion proved divisive among players. More recently, Gameloft announced the "Pixel Perfect" update arriving July 29, 2026, which brings Wreck-It Ralph to the valley alongside a new Realm and storyline. The studio has also teased additional reveals planned for a Disney Dreamlight Valley panel at D23, and launched a Grizzly Bear Cub bundle benefiting charity. Ongoing content includes seasonal events like the Summer Sizzle Event.
