Vampire Crawlers started out with a pen-and-paper version
From pub crawl to vampire crawl
Vampire Crawlers is an action-strategy indie title that arrived on PC in April 2026, built around gameplay concepts inspired by another developer's work. The game has its origins in a pen-and-paper prototype before evolving into its current form.
The recent Version 1.5 update marks a significant milestone for the title, introducing an endless mode that addresses a frequently requested feature since launch. The update also brings technical improvements across platforms, including 1080p handheld and 4K docked support on Switch 2, along with refined mouse controls. The endless mode mirrors the replayability loop that defines similar titles in the genre, giving players the sustained progression they'd been asking for.

Andreas Firnigl started his career as a tester on Big Mutha Truckers, way back on Gamecube. He founded Nosebleed Interactive almost 15 years ago as CEO and creative director.
This update brings 1080p handheld and 4K docked resolution support, improvements to mouse controls, and more on Switch 2 as well.
Vampire Crawlers is finally adding a mode that fans have wanted since launch, as it allows for the same endless replayability as Vampire Survivors.
