Story
From the darkness is a first-person horror game that focuses on creating fear in the player. Most of the time you have to walk and explore the abandoned apartment of your deceased grandfather, to which you came for an old family album, but strange things begin to happen in the apartment, the one who lives in darkness will not let you go so easily. Your main task is to get out alive, but this can only be done by meeting face to face with an inhabitant of darkness.
What is happening now
From the Darkness is an indie adventure that launched on PC in March 2021. The game has since expanded beyond its original platform, with Boreal Tenebrae Act 0 arriving on Nintendo Switch. This appears to be either a spinoff or new entry in the series, bringing the experience to Nintendo's handheld audience.
