Absolute Zero is a competitive simulation game where players face off against AI-controlled opponents in ranked matches. The game's matchmaking system has been adjusted to pair human players with bots rated approximately 50 MMR above the average skill level of the current lobby, creating progressively challenging encounters as players improve. Developer Tim from Frogs on Ice has launched a video series documenting his attempt to climb the competitive ladder using his own in-game avatar, Dev Frog. The first episode is now available, offering insight into both the bot difficulty progression and the competitive experience from a developer's perspective.
