About
Snow Bros. Special: Anniversary Edition is a PC re-release of the 1991 Famicom action game, bringing the arcade-style platformer to modern systems. The original title was heavily inspired by Bubble Bobble, featuring puzzle-action gameplay across 50 stages where players freeze enemies with snowballs. The game has recently attracted renewed attention following news of a physical Famicom re-release from Columbus Circle, the publisher continuing to support retro cartridge releases for the original hardware. This anniversary edition on PC represents an opportunity for players to experience the classic without original hardware, keeping the decades-old title in circulation among both nostalgic players and those curious about early 90s arcade adaptations.
