What is happening now
Crack Down is a 1989 arcade shooter that saw widespread ports across home systems including the Commodore 64, Atari ST, Amiga, and various other platforms from that era through to modern systems like Linux and Mac. Recent coverage mentioning the game's title has focused on unrelated enforcement efforts - Japan's government task force addressing trading card scalping and counterfeits, and Blizzard's continued policing of real-money transactions in World of Warcraft. Neither reflects new activity around the original arcade title itself.
