Play online with players from all over the world.

What is happening now

Catan is a turn-based strategy board game that arrived on N-Gage in 2005, bringing the classic resource-trading and settlement-building gameplay to a handheld platform. The game remains notable in gaming culture as a foundational influence on modern digital strategy titles. Recent coverage has focused on Catan's broader cultural impact, with upcoming titles drawing inspiration from its mechanics. The Duskbloods, an upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 release, blends Catan-style resource and settlement systems with action-RPG combat. Meanwhile, Feed the Scorchpot, a single-player roguelike now available, incorporates Catan-inspired design philosophy with a recent update aimed at early players, suggesting the board game's design philosophy continues to inform new indie projects.
