What is happening now

Le Mans Ultimate is the official racing sim of the FIA World Endurance Championship, launching on PC and SteamVR in July 2025. Developed by Motorsport Games and Studio 397, it captures the endurance racing series with simulation-focused gameplay. Since launch, the game has seen aggressive post-release support with multiple update cycles. Version 1.4 brought a US track addition to the roster alongside various fixes deployed across several hotfixes. The update cycle has continued with versions 1.4.1 and 1.4.2 in development, suggesting active refinement. However, the community has raised concerns over a proposed paid "Joker" feature - a rank-changing system locked behind a paywall - which generated notable backlash within the sim-racing audience.
