Ace Pilot! 2023

About

Ace Pilot! is a web-based flight combat game that launched in March 2023. The game puts you in control of Rex, a silent protagonist pilot tasked with executing aerial combat missions and building an impressive combat record. Recently, Japanese players have embraced an affectionate community interpretation of Rex's character, imagining him as somewhat clumsy and out of his depth outside the cockpit despite his aerial prowess. This headcanon has gained traction partly due to awkward story moments and quick-time event sequences in the narrative, creating an amusing contrast between Rex's competence in the air and his apparent clumsiness elsewhere.
