Switch (Prototype)

Switch is a prototype application released for Android in March 2023. Based on recent coverage, Nintendo developed a specialized Switch prototype unit to evaluate GameChat functionality, a feature anticipated for the upcoming Switch 2 console. The prototype was instrumental in testing how the communication system would perform on the new hardware before its wider implementation.
