Forsaken by Valhalla is a tactical roguelite in development that reimagines Norse mythology through the lens of warriors denied entry to the afterlife. Rather than the honored death promised by tradition, the game follows fighters left stranded at the gates of Valhalla, forced to survive and fight their way through various challenges.
Development has progressed with recent updates adding new biomes, spell mechanics, and defensive tower systems to the roguelite structure. The game is being developed by Martin Istvanek and remains in active development, with version 0.9.0 of the Colony of the Forsaken update representing ongoing refinement of its core systems and world-building.
