About
Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX bundles remastered versions of four core entries from the long-running Disney-Square Enix crossover series. The collection pairs the original Kingdom Hearts and its sequel with Re:Chain of Memories and Re:coded, offering action-RPG combat across multiple Disney worlds alongside an overarching narrative spanning the series' early story beats. The PC release in June 2024 marked a significant platform expansion for the franchise. Recent coverage has touched on the series' historical relationship with Nintendo handhelds, noting that while Kingdom Hearts has appeared on portables dating back to the Game Boy Advance, mainline entries have rarely been the focus of those ports. The collection's availability continues the franchise's ongoing effort to make its sprawling catalog more accessible across different systems.
