Discounty is a management sim that tasks you with running a supermarket in a small, economically struggling harbour town. The game blends life-sim coziness with deeper public relations mechanics, asking players to navigate the tension between profitable business practices and community goodwill - essentially whether convenience or local culture should win out.

The game has recently expanded beyond PC to mobile platforms. A significant update called "People or Profit" has been released, bringing three new endings, fresh items, and additional features that deepen the strategic choices around how you operate your business. The same update is headed to Nintendo Switch in July, suggesting the developer is actively supporting the game across multiple platforms.
