About
Buddy System is a puzzle game that launched on web in May 2022. However, recent coverage indicates significant confusion: the headlines and excerpts actually reference a "Buddy System" update for Subnautica 2, an underwater survival and crafting game, not a standalone puzzle title. The Subnautica 2 update (version 1.2, released August 19) introduced multiplayer-focused features including proximity-based voice chat, co-op revives, player trading, and emotes. This followed a previous update that adjusted creature behavior to address frustration during gameplay. The additions appear aimed at deepening the cooperative experience in Subnautica 2's survival gameplay rather than representing developments in the listed Buddy System puzzle game.
