Mr. Nutz is a platformer series that originated on SNES in 1993, later expanding to multiple 16-bit and portable systems including Genesis and Game Boy variants. The squirrel-based action game was developed by Ocean and designed by Philippe Dessoly and Pierre Adane.
After roughly three decades without physical releases, the original Mr. Nutz and its sequel are being revived through a collaboration between Strictly Limited and Atari. Both games are receiving new physical versions for SNES and Genesis, marking the franchise's return to hardware after a considerable absence from retail shelves.
