What is happening now
Detective Dotson is a point-and-click puzzle adventure set against the backdrop of modern India, available across a broad range of platforms from Nintendo Switch to iOS. The indie title launched in late April 2025, positioning itself within the adventure game space alongside larger releases. Recent coverage has focused on the game's thematic depth, particularly how it handles grief and loss through its narrative structure. Comparisons to other indie titles suggest Detective Dotson carves out its own identity by grounding its mystery-solving mechanics within a specific cultural setting and emotional core, rather than relying solely on puzzle design.
