About
Top Gun is an arcade flight game released in 2010 across PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, and PC. However, the recent surge in coverage centers on Battlefield 6's extensive Top Gun crossover collaboration, which represents one of the game's biggest updates to date. Season 4's second wave brings new aircraft, character recreations from Top Gun: Maverick, and deep-cut Easter eggs launching August 18th. The update introduces two new modes, including one that tasks teams with destroying the opposing carrier - a mechanic resurrecting a 20-year-old Battlefield feature - alongside the return of Wake Island. Players should note that Microsoft is discontinuing the Top Gun expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator, giving a limited window to access that content.
