Ember Lab announced a shift to a 2027 release window, citing the need for additional development time to refine what the studio describes as an expanded experience. The delay came after the February announcement trailer generated significant fan interest. Beyond the release date adjustment, the studio has begun revealing worldbuilding details, including information about Kosmora's Spirit Guide history and the temples Kena will encounter throughout her journey.
