What is happening now
Stranded is a survival adventure game released in February 2024 for PC that tasks players with staying alive on Mars while cultivating crops as a core survival mechanic. The game's premise draws comparisons to survival fiction centered on resource management in hostile environments. Recent coverage has touched on the game's thematic parallels to popular Mars survival narratives, with some discussion around the broader appeal of stranded-on-another-planet scenarios in gaming. However, most recent gaming news cycles have focused on other titles and platform developments rather than substantive updates to Stranded itself.
