About
The Last of Us Part II Remastered is an action-adventure title that arrived on PlayStation 5 and PC in January 2024. The game represents an enhanced version of Naughty Dog's 2020 sequel, bringing the post-apocalyptic narrative experience to current hardware. Since launch, attention has centered on community-driven efforts to expand the game's scope. A multiplayer mod project developed by fans was shelved following a request from PlayStation, preventing what would have been an unofficial addition to the single-player focused release. The decision highlights ongoing tensions between player creativity and publisher control over derivative works.
